There is something special about the 1st day of a month. It’s another blank page. I can’t look back to yesterday of February …..Today is the first.
Healthy Monday…healthy Tuesday 28 days to focus on health. My body screams for help with pain.
I started a 2 week challenge for intermittent fasting! The hardest part is drinking enough water!
Breakfast will be at 9:30 this morning when my Fast ends! Oatmeal and a small dish of vanilla yogurt with blueberries! My son brought the blueberries to encourage me to eat healthy. Now, it is time for a bottle of water.
Water goal today is to drink 4 8 oz of water and say good night at 7:30 to another 8 ounces.
Let me share the healthy, wealthy part of this day and perhaps a few sad tears along the way!
Physical Therapy at 10:30.
Thank you God for the Awesome pain. It is pronounced, screams at me from every corner of my being. This is the first time ever, I can express thanks for pain. My foot pain controlled my brain for many years, now this muscle pain is crazy! Debilitating! I would embrace just the foot pain now with no complaints.
My appointment with the physical therapist was very productive. I like her very much and trust what she tells me.
This is my third week to go to Physical therapy. I can tell an improvement each time. I am walking now without a cane most of the time. Next visit we will work on climbing stairs.
Fear is a driving factor in my limitations. I have watched some videos of over achievers physically and it brings back memories of my own determination. Well it ain’t over yet and I will over come the fear.
Time for Lunch
After physical therapy, I treated me to lunch at Outback. Smoked blackened salmon, salad and mashed potatoes made a delicious meal. I consumed half and took half with me for dinner tonight. Sorry folks, I forgot to take a picture of the main course!
Outback Steakhouse Fresh, Crisp Salad!
Next stop, was to pay my rent. I can relax as February is paid for. It feels like I am living in a motel.
The apartment manager and I talked about some social media work I may do. This is a great place to Live and heal. I do not have steps to climb here, so less pain.
Developing a strong health routine is a top priority for change in my life.
